To facilitate the examination centers were established throughout the state. Total 94 examination centers were established across the state and 27,982 youths appeared in exam. HRTC organized the written examination to fill 1300 posts of bus conductor.
Admit Cards were issued to 30,284 youth for written examination on behalf of the management. 92 percent of the youth have given this examination. Every center had capacity of 500 candidates. The corporation says that it was compulsory to pass 10 in this examination. In the entrance examination, MA and BA passed youth also participated.
The conductor posted on the job has to serve 12 hours. Many conductors do not get up to the weekly holidays. The number of buses in HRTC has reached around 35 hundred but the posts were not filled till long.
Under skill development corporation the trainee conductors are being carried out in buses. HRTC's DM Anil Sen told that employees of HRTC were also on duty on Sunday. The HRTC staff was responsible for giving paper and answering the book to the candidates.
He said that on Monday the youth can check the HRTC website on www.hrtc.com. They will be able to register their objections till 22nd of September.
