Eligibility Criteria:
General Duty (GD):
Age: 21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2026 (Born between 01 Jul 2001 & 30 Jun 2005).
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Class XII or equivalent.
Technical (Engineering/Electrical/Electronics):
Age: 21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2026 (Born between 01 Jul 2001 & 30 Jun 2005).
Educational Qualification:
Engineering degree in relevant disciplines such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, etc.
Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Class XII or equivalent.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process consists of five stages:
Stage-I: Coast Guard Common Admission Test (CGCAT) – Online screening test.
Stage-II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) – Cognitive Battery Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test.
Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB) – Psychological Test, Group Task, and Interview.
Stage-IV: Medical Examination.
Stage-V: Induction at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.
Vacancies:
General Duty (GD): 140 posts.
Technical (Engineering/Electrical/Electronics): 30 posts.
Total: 170 posts.
