Indian Army has given a notification for the special recruitment of NCC Special Entry Scheme 43rd Course – April 2018 for Army Personal from married/ unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates and also from Wards of Battle Casualties, for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25-07-2017 10.00 Hrs to 23-08-2017 10.00 Hrs. All details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are given below.....

1. NCC Men: 50 Posts
a. General: 45 Posts
b. Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel: 05 Posts

2. NCC Women: 04 Posts
a. General: 03 Posts
b. Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel: 01 Post


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 19 to 25 years as on 1st January 2018 (born not earlier than 02 January 1993 and not later than 01 January 1999, both dates inclusive) for NCC candidates (including Wards of Battle Casualties).


Educational Qualification: Candidates should Possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/ semesters, Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years. Such students will need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled. The candidates studying in the final year of graduation should complete their examinations related to the degree, like, written, practical’s, viva-voce, projects backlogs etc prior to 01 Apr 2017. They should be able to produce the degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA, Chennai. Such candidates will be inducted for training at OTA, Chennai on additional bond basis for recovery of the cost of training as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay and allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate for For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders, Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/ semesters, NCC ‘C’ Certificate not required for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website ww.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 25-07-2017 At 10:00 Hrs to 23-08-2017 at 10:00 Hrs.


For Ward of Battle Casualties: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with relevant documents by post to Directorate General Recruiting/ Rtg-A, NCC Entry, West Block, R.K.Puram, New Delhi-110066 on or before 29-08-2017.


How to Apply Online:
1. Candidates log on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
2. Go to Officers Entry & Instructions carefully.
3. Click on Registration if he/ she would be new user.
4. Click on apply Online if candidate already registered.
5. Fill all the details in the application & submit the form.
6. Now take a print out of online application for future use.


Starting Date for Apply Online: 25-07-2017 At 10:00 Hrs.

Last Date to Apply Online: 23-08-2017 at 10:00 Hrs.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications for Ward of Battle Casualties Only at Dte Gen of Recruiting: 29-08-2017.
