Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline and possess a degree in Architecture / Engineering / Technology in the respective field from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: Maximum age 27 years as on :‐ 27.09.2025.

Application Process

- Navigate to the “Careers” section and find the recruitment advertisement Advt. No. 09/2025/CHQ.
- Read the official notification carefully.
- Click on “Apply Online” and complete the registration process.
- Fill in the application form with accurate details and upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee via the prescribed online mode.
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
Selection Procedure
The Airports Authority of India will recruit Junior Executives in various engineering and technical disciplines strictly on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). No separate written examination will be conducted by AAI for this recruitment cycle. The detailed selection methodology is as follows:
- Shortlisting Based on GATE Score: Applicants must have appeared in GATE 2023, GATE 2024, or GATE 2025 in the relevant discipline. Only those candidates who have obtained a valid score will be considered for shortlisting.
- Discipline-wise Merit List: AAI will prepare separate merit lists for each discipline based on the normalized GATE marks. The list will be prepared in descending order of GATE score, ensuring transparency in the process.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents, certificates, and testimonials. Candidates must produce proof of date of birth, educational qualifications, caste/category certificate (if applicable), GATE scorecard, and any other documents as required.
- Medical Fitness Test: Provisionally selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination as per AAI’s standards to ensure they are fit for duty.
- Final Selection: The final selection will be made purely on the basis of GATE score, subject to successful verification of documents and medical fitness. No personal interview will be conducted.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case two or more candidates secure the same GATE score, the tie will be resolved in the following order:
- Candidate with the higher marks in the qualifying degree examination will be given preference.
- If still tied, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in merit.

Application Fee and Mode of Remittance
Candidates applying for AAI Junior Executive Recruitment 2025 are required to pay the prescribed application fee through online mode only. The details are as follows:
- General / OBC (NCL) / EWS Candidates: ₹300/- (Three Hundred Only)
- SC / ST / PwBD / Female Candidates: Exempted – No application fee required.
Payment Mode: The fee can be paid using a valid debit card, credit card, or net banking facility. Payment through any other mode such as Demand Draft, Money Order, or Cash Deposit will not be accepted.
Important Instructions for Fee Payment
- The application fee, once paid, will be non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Bank transaction charges (if applicable) will be borne by the candidates.
- Candidates must ensure successful fee payment before submitting the final application form.
- In case of failed transactions, the candidate must reinitiate payment before the last date.
