Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 years (as per HP Government rules)
Consolidated Fixed Monthly Remuneration:
Rs. 18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand only) per month
Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification
- 10+2 in Science from a recognized Board of School Education / University
- B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging)
- B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radio Diagnosis & Radiotherapy)
- B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-Ray / Radio Diagnosis)
- B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology
- B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging
- B.Sc. in Medical Radio & Imaging Technology
- Bachelor of Radiology & Imaging Technology (Lateral Entry) from a recognized University
- Must be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Para Medical Council, Shimla
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh
- Suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Mode of Selection
The merit list for selection will be drawn up on the basis of evaluation criteria as approved by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment vide letter No. SJ-E-B-(15)03/2014 dated 28.08.2013, detailed below:
Evaluation Criteria (Total Marks: 30)
- Essential Educational Qualification – 10 Marks
(10% of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification divided by 10) - Disability Percentage Weightage – 6 Marks
- 40% to 59% – 2 Marks
- 60% to 79% – 4 Marks
- 80% to 100% – 6 Marks
- Additional Educational Qualification – 4 Marks
(10% of marks obtained divided by 25) - Belonging to notified Backward Area or Panchayat – 1 Mark
- Landless family / family having less than 1 Hectare land – 1 Mark
- Non-Employment Certificate (None of the family members in Govt./Semi Govt. service) – 1 Mark
- BPL Family (Annual income below Rs. 40,000/-) – 2 Marks
- Widow / Divorced / Destitute / Single Woman – 1 Mark
- Single Daughter / Orphan – 1 Mark
- Training of at least 6 months related to the post from a recognized institution – 1 Mark
- Experience up to a maximum of 5 years in Govt./Semi Govt. organization – 2 Marks
(0.4 marks per completed year or 0.7 marks per completed year in case of Class-III post)
