Pashu Mitra Bilaspur Recruitment 2026 - ANIMAL HEALTH / BREEDING, BILASPUR (H.P.)
Applications from desirous candidates on the prescribed Performa are invited for filling up 17 posts of Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra) against vacant posts available at the following Veterinary Institutions of District Bilaspur in the Animal Husbandry Department on honorarium basis of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month for working as part time (04 hours a day).
The application should reach in the office of the Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital on or before 05/02/2026 at 3:00 PM positively.
Note:
- Applications received after due date will be rejected without assigning any reason.
- Incomplete applications will also be rejected.
- The department will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of applications.

Eligibility Criteria – Chamba Pashu Mitra Recruitment 2026
General Eligibility
- The applicant must be a normal or neighbouring resident of the Gram Panchayat or Urban Local Body falling under the jurisdiction of the concerned Veterinary Institution.
- The candidate must be a bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should be physically fit, able bodied and mentally sound.
- The candidate must be of good character.
Essential Qualification
- The candidate must have passed Matric (10th) from any School or Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
- This condition of passing 10th from a Himachal based school will not apply to candidates who are Bonafide Himachali.
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge of Animal Husbandry and livestock related activities.
- Knowledge of local customs, traditions and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit – Chamba Pashu Mitra Recruitment 2026
The candidate should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application forms.
Selection Process
Stage-I: Physical Fitness Test
- All eligible candidates will have to appear for a Physical Fitness Test.
- The candidate must be able to carry 25 Kg weight up to 100 meters within one minute.
- The schedule containing date, time and venue of the physical test will be notified separately on the official website.
- Only candidates who qualify the Physical Test will be allowed to appear in the next stage.
Stage-II: Preparation of Merit List & Counseling
- The Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee (PMEC) will prepare a merit-based panel of 5 candidates for each Veterinary Institution.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and counseling with their original documents.
- The date and schedule for counseling and document verification will be notified separately.
Merit Marks Distribution – Pashu Mitra Bilaspur Recruitment 2026
The selection merit will be prepared out of a total of 100 marks based on the following criteria:

General Instructions
- The candidate must apply only on the prescribed Annexure-A application form printed on A-4 size paper. Any other format will be rejected.
- The application form must be filled in the candidate’s own handwriting using blue or black ball point pen.
- The candidate must fulfill all eligibility conditions on the last date of submission of the application.
- Incomplete applications (without photograph, signature, enclosures, or with unfilled columns) or applications received after the due date will be rejected.
- Self-attested photocopies of all valid certificates must be attached with the application. Original documents will be verified at the time of counseling.
