🔹 Short Detail: SSCW (Tech) Recruitment 2025

Indian Army invites online applications for 31 SSCW (Tech) posts from eligible female engineering graduates. Apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in from 23 July to 21 August 2025. Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree or graduation (for non-tech). Age limit: 20–27 years. Selected candidates will get a starting salary of ₹56,100 (Level-10) and promotional benefits as per 7th CPC. No application fee required.

✅ Selection Criteria for SSCW (Tech) 2025

1. Shortlisting of Applications

   • Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in the qualifying degree (B.E/B.Tech).

   • No written exam is conducted.

   • The cut-off percentage is determined by the Indian Army for each engineering stream.

2. SSB Interview (Stage I & II)

   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB Interview, which is conducted in two stages:

     • Stage I: Screening test (includes verbal, non-verbal, and PPDT).

       • Candidates who fail Stage I are screened out on the first day.

     • Stage II: Psychology test, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Personal Interview, and Conference.

3. Medical Examination

   • Candidates recommended after Stage II go through a Medical Fitness Test as per Indian Army standards.

4. Final Merit List

   • The final merit list is prepared based on SSB performance (marks out of 225) and medical fitness.

   • Selection is subject to vacancy availability and order of merit.

5. Training at OTA, Chennai

   • Selected candidates undergo 49 weeks of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

   • Training is fully residential and mandatory.
