HPRCA Clerk Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Clerk (Job Trainee) post must fulfil the following essential qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
English Typing: The candidate should have a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on a computer.

The Computer Based Test or written screening test will carry 120 marks and will have a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.

2. Typing Skill Test

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written/CBT examination will be required to appear for a prescribed typing skill test. The typing test will be qualifying in nature.

The prescribed typing requirement is:

30 words per minute in English, or
25 words per minute in Hindi,

Typing is to be performed on a computer.
