🎓 Essential Qualifications

Qualification	Details
Master’s Degree	Genetics and Plant Breeding
NET Qualification	ICAR / UGC / CSIR or any equivalent test accredited by UGC/State
Publication Requirement	At least one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal
NET Exemption	Ph.D. candidates registered before 11 July 2009, subject to prescribed conditions

💰 Remuneration

Qualification	Rate per Contact Hour	Maximum Monthly Payment
Master’s Degree Holder	₹850	₹35,000
Ph.D. Degree Holder	₹1,000	₹42,000

Note: An additional remuneration of ₹5,000 per course per semester will be paid for examination-related duties.

📄 Terms & Conditions

• The engagement is purely temporary and does not confer any right to regular appointment.
• The College/University reserves the right to terminate services at any time without assigning reasons.
• A panel of 3–4 eligible persons will be prepared for teaching on a contact-hour basis.
• The selected candidate must follow University academic regulations and submit class attendance after each session.
• Duties may include conducting examinations, invigilation, question paper setting, evaluation, and student counseling.
