Eligibility Criteria – Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026

Executive Branch (GS(X) / Hydro Cadre)

BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Pilot

BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.

Naval Air Operations Officer (Observers)

BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.

Air Traffic Controller (ATC)

BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.

Logistics

BE / B.Tech in any discipline with First Class or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc (H) with First Class along with PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management, or MCA / M.Sc (H) with First Class.

Education

Indian Navy SSC Officer Salary 2026

The initial gross salary of a Sub Lieutenant in the Indian Navy starts from ₹1,25,000/- per month (approximately), along with other allowances as applicable under government rules.

  • Initial Gross Salary: ₹1,25,000/- per month (Approx.)
  • Pilot / NAOO Allowance: ₹31,250/- per month after successful completion of training
  • Submarine Allowance: ₹31,250/- per month after successful completion of submarine training

Note: Submarine allowance will be admissible to candidates only after successful completion of submarine training and as per extant Indian Navy rules.
