Education : Matriculation or l0th class pass from a recognized Board/University.
Sports Qualification :
Sportsperson who have represented a State or the Country in the National or International competition in any of the games/sports
OR
Sportsperson who have represented their University in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the inter University Sports Board in any of the sports/games
OR
Sportsperson of merit who have represented State Schools team in National Sports/Games or Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the Games/sports
Age Limit : 18 to 23 years as on I'r August'2016. Relaxation as per Govt order.
Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs.2000/- & other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time under the rule.
How to Apply : Prescribed application form available in BSF website www.bsf.nic.in which may be downloaded and printed out in fullscap size (single side) paper. Selection Process :
All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card/call lefter to appear in the requirement process i.e. trial. Candidates will have to undergo the following process of recruitment:
1. Height Bar/Test
2. Identity Check
3. Checking of Testimonials/documents.
4. Physical Standard Test
5. Trial in respective sports discipline.
6. Medical Examination
