Salary

The final merit list will be prepared based on the following marking scheme:

Important Note
- The Physical Test includes both Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Only candidates who qualify the Physical Test will be eligible for the Written Examination.
- The Written Examination carries 90 marks and includes negative marking.
- Original documents will be verified before final selection.
- NCC Certificate holders can secure up to 4 additional marks during evaluation.
- The final merit list will be prepared out of 100 marks based on the Written Examination, Height Evaluation, and NCC Certificate marks.
- Medical fitness is mandatory before appointment as a Police Constable.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
The Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Police Department. All physical measurements will be taken by a Medical Officer and recorded in the candidate's measurement sheet. The measurements will be verified and signed by the Medical Officer as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Director General of Police (DGP).
Candidates will be awarded marks only for their height as per the criteria given below:
