Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: 21 to 27 years as on 01 Jan 2026 (Born between 02 Jan 1999 and 01 Jan 2005)
• Educational Qualification: Minimum 55% in LLB (3 or 5-year course). Must have appeared in CLAT PG 2025.
• Bar Registration: Eligible for registration as advocate with Bar Council of India or State
• Nationality: Indian citizens and certain categories of citizens of Nepal and other countries (as per notification)

Training Details:

• Training Academy: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
• Training Duration: 49 weeks
• Stipend During Training: ₹56,100/- per month
• Degree Awarded: PG Diploma in Defence Management & Strategic Studies by University of Madras

Salary and Career Progression:

• Rank After Training: Lieutenant
• CTC After Commissioning: Approx ₹17–18 LPA
• Promotion Ranks: Captain (2 yrs), Major (6 yrs), Lt Colonel (13 yrs), Colonel (Selection), Brigadier, Major General

Tenure and Commission:

• Initial Tenure: 10 Years (Short Service Commission)
• Extension: Up to 14 Years Total
• Permanent Commission Option: After 10 years (based on eligibility & suitability)

Allowances and Perks:

• Military Service Pay: ₹15,500/- per month
• Para Allowance, High Altitude, Uniform, Travel and Field Area Allowances
• Free Ration, Accommodation, Medical Facilities
• Children Education Allowance: ₹2,812.50/month
• Hostel Subsidy: ₹8,437.50/month
• Army Group Insurance: ₹1.25 Crore Cover

2. Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then ‘Registration’
3. After login, click on ‘Apply Online’ for JAG Entry
4. Fill the application form carefully with required details
5. Review and submit the form
6. Take printout of the submitted form with roll number for future reference

Documents Required at SSB:

• Printout of application with photo
• Class 10 certificate (proof of DOB and name)
• Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
• LLB degree and all semester mark sheets
• CLAT PG 2025 Score Card
• Bar Council Registration or University Certificate
• Conversion formula for CGPA (if applicable)

Important Points:

• Only one application per candidate is allowed
• No offline applications accepted
• SSB interview centres: Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar
• Application once submitted cannot be edited after closing date
