Department of Animal Husbandry Kullu, Himachal Pradesh has officially announced a new recruitment drive for the post of Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra). Under this recruitment, a total of 14 posts will be filled on a part-time honorarium basis. Candidates who have passed 10th class and belong to Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Applicant must have passed Matric (10th) from a school located in Himachal Pradesh. This condition is not mandatory for Bonafide Himachali candidates.
Desirable Qualification:
- Basic knowledge of Animal Husbandry related work
- Understanding of Himachal Pradesh customs, dialects and culture
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of ₹5,000 per month for working 4 hours per day on a part-time basis.

Selection Process
Stage-1: Physical Test
Candidates must be capable of carrying 25 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters within 1 minute.
Stage-2: Merit List
A merit list will be prepared by the Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee. A panel of five candidates per institution will be called for document verification during counselling.
General Instructions
- Applicant must be a resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat or Urban Local Body.
- Must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- Candidate should be physically fit and mentally sound.
- Good character is mandatory.
- Application form must be submitted only in the prescribed Annexure-A format.
- Form should be written in the candidate’s own handwriting using blue or black pen.
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
- Self-attested photocopies of all required documents must be attached.
How to Apply
Candidates must submit their completed offline application form to the Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective Sub-Divisional Veterinary Hospital on or before 03 February 2026 (4:00 PM).
Application should be submitted along with self-attested copies of all required documents as mentioned in the notification.
