Appointment for the Post of Vice-Chancellor, CSKHPKV, Palampur, HP
The Government of Himachal Pradesh vide notification No. AGR-B-A(3)-2/2025 dated 6th January, 2026 notified the HP Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Rules, 2026 for selection/appointment of Vice Chancellor in the CSKHPKV, Palampur, HP.

Accordingly, applications are invited for the post of Vice Chancellor, Chaudhry Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, HP from distinguished academicians with minimum of 10 years of experience as Professor, or equivalent in University or Research Institutions and having high academic standards, integrity and administrative experience, preferably in agricultural, horticultural, forestry, or allied sciences; including 20 years service in Agriculture research services and should meet other qualifications notified in this advertisement as per provision of Rule-5 of the Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Rules, 2026.
Tenure
The appointment will be for a period of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

- Curriculum Vitae in the prescribed format duly signed by the candidate along with required information and supporting documents should be submitted both in soft and hard copy within 30 days from publication of this advertisement.
