📌 Essential Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- B.A. with Hindi as one of the main (Elective) subjects.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Advocate.
Desirable Qualification:
Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State.
📌 Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for Bonafide SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PWD of H.P. as per Govt. rules. Other relaxations as per HP Government norms.

- Upload required documents before final submission.
- Applications submitted through other modes will be rejected.
Note: No correction allowed after final submission except category change as per rules.

📌 Selection Process
Stage 1: Screening Test (Objective Type)
- 100 Marks
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
- Subjects:
- General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh – 30 Marks
- National & International Affairs – 30 Marks
- Hindi Language – 20 Marks
- English Language – 20 Marks
Stage 2: Subject Aptitude Test (Descriptive)
- 120 Marks
- Duration: 3 Hours
Stage 3: Personality Test
- 30 Marks
- Minimum Qualifying:
- General: 40% (12 Marks)
- Reserved: 30% (09 Marks)
Final Merit: SAT (120 Marks) + Personality Test (30 Marks)
📌 Important Instructions for Candidates

- No candidate will be interviewed without NOC (if in regular service).
- Entry to exam hall closes 30 minutes before exam.
- E-Admit Cards will be available online only.

The recruitment and engagement shall be governed under the Scheme for engagement of Job Trainees on fixed amount as per Department of Personnel Notification No. Per(AP)-C-B(15)-3/2024 dated 19th July, 2025 and subsequent guidelines.
