DRCS Kangra Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Nurse & Chowkidar Posts

The District Red Cross Society Kangra (DRCS Kangra) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 03 contractual posts under the District De-addiction Centre at Prayas Bhawan, Dharamshala. The recruitment includes 1 Nurse/Male Nurse and 2 Chowkidar vacancies.

Eligible candidates possessing GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualifications or Class 10th with relevant experience can submit their applications through offline mode. The application process starts on 18 December 2025 and the last date for submission is 05 January 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria

Nurse / Male Nurse

• Must hold a GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification
• Should be willing to undergo training as decided by MSJ&E

Chowkidar

• Passed 10th Class from a recognized board
• Minimum 2 years experience in Hospitals / Health Care Centres / De-addiction Centres

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions before applying.

Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years

Application Fee

• Application Fee: Rs. 200/-
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft (DD)
• DD should be drawn in favour of Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Kangra at Dharamshala
• Payable at SBI, District Court Branch, Dharamshala
• Fee once paid is non-refundable

Selection Process

Nurse / Male Nurse

• 70 marks based on percentage in GNM / B.Sc Nursing
• Additional 5 marks for B.Sc Nursing candidates
• Top 10 candidates shortlisted for interview (20 marks)
• Up to 5 marks for experience beyond minimum requirement
• Total: 100 Marks

Chowkidar

• 85 marks based on 10th class percentage
• 15 marks as per evaluation criteria (Annexure-III)
• Top two candidates selected
• Preference given to Ex-Servicemen

Important Instructions

• Posts are unreserved and purely contractual
• No provision for regularization in future
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview
• Recruitment authority reserves the right to cancel or modify the process

1. Download the application form (Annexure-I & II)
2. Fill in all required details correctly
3. Attach self-attested copies of educational and experience certificates
4. Enclose Demand Draft of Rs. 200/-
5. Submit the application to:
   Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Kangra at Dharamshala
6. Ensure the application reaches on or before 05 January 2026 (5:00 PM)
